Wilyabrup Wellness Retreat is a high-end wellness resort concept envisioned for the Margaret River region, designed to deliver deeply restorative experiences through architecture, landscape, and nature-led wellness programming. The retreat is conceived as a sanctuary where guests move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments, fostering a strong connection to place, ritual, and wellbeing.

The master-planned retreat brings together a central lodge with dining, spa, and communal spaces, supported by a network of wellness facilities including treatment domes, hot and cold therapy zones, mineral bathing experiences, movement spaces, and nature-integrated accommodation. Elevated boardwalks and air bridges connect each zone, allowing guests to journey through the landscape while protecting the surrounding environment.

Wellness experiences are curated across multiple layers, from movement and meditation to hydrotherapy, sound, and culturally inspired bathing rituals. The design supports retreats, events, and extended stays, positioning the project as a flexible destination for both individual guests and group-based wellness experiences within one of Western Australia’s most sought-after regions.

The project highlights an integrated approach to experience design, spatial planning, and storytelling - creating a refined, nature-led retreat model suited to premium wellness tourism in the Margaret River region.
