The International Food Bowl is a world-leading integrated agrifood project located in the South-West of Western Australia, designed to deliver premium organic food through renewable-powered, closed-loop production systems. Developed by Good Earth Energy Corporation and Perth Food Bowl Corporation, the project combines energy, agriculture, and technology within a single, scalable precinct model.

The development leverages a secured geothermal exploration permit covering approximately 2,700 km², alongside solar energy systems, to remove reliance on fossil fuels and enable continuous, low-cost thermal and electrical energy for food production. Closed-loop aquaculture and controlled-environment agriculture are integrated to maximise efficiency, biosecurity, and water reuse while reducing environmental impact.

Technology underpins the project’s long-term vision, with science-led systems, automation, robotics, and AI supporting productivity, resilience, and scalability. Circular systems are embedded throughout, where outputs from one process become inputs for another, reinforcing a low to negative carbon footprint across operations.

Positioned on major transport routes with access to skilled labour, international airports, and ports, the International Food Bowl is structured as a long-term platform for collaboration. Supported by CSIRO, government agencies, research organisations, and industry partners, the precinct is designed to accommodate multiple agriculture, aquaculture, and agritech ventures, serving both domestic and international markets while delivering enduring environmental and economic value.
